New Dental Patient Information – Salt Lake City, UT
How to Get
Started with Us
If you’re interested in getting dental implants, or you know you need gum disease therapy, you do NOT need a referral from your dentist to come see us. Yes, many patients are sent our way by their general dentists, but this isn’t a requirement. You’re free to schedule an appointment with us yourself, and no matter what brings you through our doors, we want to make your initial experience as pleasant as possible. That’s why we’ve shared everything you need to know ahead of time below. If you have any questions, you’re always welcome to give us a call.
Your First Visit
Your appointment will start with a conversation with your dentist so they can get to know you. What do you hope to accomplish by coming to see us? What are the problems you’re dealing with? Is there anything else we can do to make you as comfortable as possible? With your input in mind, you’ll receive a thorough examination that looks at your entire mouth. From there, your dentist will share their observations with you, discuss your options, and work with you to put together a personalized care plan.
As nice as our periodontal office and team are, we know you want to get in and out of our periodontal office as quickly as possible—your time is valuable! To help us check you in nice and fast, please complete our forms ahead of your first visit. You can fill them out online by clicking the link below.

Many aspects of gum disease therapy and dental implants can be covered by dental insurance, and to make visiting us easier, our specialty dental accepts a long list of popular PPO plans. To get an estimate of how much you’ll be able to save, just give us a call with your policy information nearby, and we’ll discuss your benefits. After that, we’ll handle the claims process on your behalf to ensure you get every dollar you deserve.
If you don’t have insurance, that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck when it comes to getting periodontal care. Our periodontal office gives patients the option to break up the cost of their treatments with CareCredit, a third-party financier. Signing up is simple, and the plans are easy to understand, allowing many patients to get what they need now without breaking the bank in the process.
